Earlier dated reporting

PASO ROBLES — November 4, 2026. Three candidates for Paso Robles City Council District 2 are separated by small margins, while District 1 shows a much wider early lead.

What the early count shows

In District 2, Michael Massey has 621 votes (36.44%), Chris Bausch 546 (32.04%), and Robert Simoni 537 (31.51%). Just nine votes separate the candidates in second and third. In District 1, Kris Beal has 935 (73.05%) to Linda C. George’s 345 (26.95%).

How to interpret the vote

The District 2 lead is 75 votes over Bausch, so further counting is especially important. These are two independent council districts, not a citywide multi-seat vote. They also should not be combined with the mayoral contest.

Next official result

This article refers to the county’s fourth unofficial election-night update, approximately 1:47 a.m. November 4. More eligible ballots remained to be counted. All outcomes and quoted totals are preliminary until the San Luis Obispo County Clerk-Recorder completes the canvass and certifies the vote. Refer to the county’s official election results page for any later figures.
